Our Training Philosophy

Hi, I'm Ashley! I am trained, educated, and certified in evidence-based, force-free training methods, prioritizing the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of you and your dog above all else.


I do not use or recommend fear, pain, physical or verbal corrections, or intimidation in my training. I avoid tools designed to cause discomfort or physical or emotional harm, including prong collars and shock collars. Instead, I educate my clients on effective alternatives to these techniques and tools. 


When working together, I focus on building a relationship of trust between you and your dog through positive rewards such as food, praise, and play to encourage desired behavior. My training methods are based on the latest research in behavioral science, emphasizing management and positive reinforcement.
